Synopsis | Mulder and Scully investigate a murder in a small town populated by Devil worshipers.
Trivia | “Die Hand die Verletzt” is the first episode directed by Kim Manners – the series’ most prolific director with 52 episodes under his belt. It is the last episode conceived by screenwriters Glen Morgan and James Wong until they briefly return to the show in Season 4; the line written by Paddock/demon Azazel on a chalkboard at the end of the episode – “Goodbye. It’s been nice working with you” – serves as a farewell to the cast and crew.
Quote | Mulder: “But you are responsible. You knew the possibilities contained in your beliefs, no matter how watered down. Did you really think you could call up the Devil and ask him to behave?”
